Terms and Conditions

Booking and Payment

– A deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your safari reservation. – Full payment must be received prior to the commencement of your safari. – Payments can be made via bank transfer, credit card, or other agreed-upon methods.

Cancellation and Refunds

– Cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the safari start date may be eligible for a partial refund, subject to cancellation fees. – Cancellations made less than 60 days before the safari start date are non-refundable. – Refunds for cancellations are at the discretion of Roosevelt Safaris and may be subject to administrative fees.

Changes and Modifications

– Roosevelt Safaris reserves the right to modify or change safari itineraries, accommodations, or activities due to unforeseen circumstances, such as weather conditions, natural disasters, or wildlife movements. – Every effort will be made to inform guests of any changes or modifications as soon as possible.

Travel Insurance

– Travel insurance is strongly recommended for all guests participating in a safari with Roosevelt Safaris. – Guests are responsible for ensuring they have adequate travel insurance coverage for medical emergencies, trip cancellations, and other unforeseen circumstances.

Health and Safety

– Guests are responsible for ensuring they are in good health and physically fit to participate in safari activities. – Roosevelt Safaris reserves the right to refuse participation to guests who are deemed unfit or unable to safely participate in safari activities.

Liability

– Roosevelt Safaris is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expenses incurred during the safari, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, property damage, or loss of personal belongings. – Guests participate in safari activities at their own risk and are responsible for their own safety and well-being.

Force Majeure

– Roosevelt Safaris shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these terms and conditions due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, or government restrictions.

Legal Jurisdiction

– These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Uganda. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uganda. By booking a safari with Roosevelt Safaris, guests agree to abide by these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully and contact us if you have any questions or concerns.
